Yeah, the Switch graphics aren't really much better than the Wii U's, but it's getting those graphics at about a tenth of the power consumption of other consoles. It's a completely different type of technological powerhouse. It's the difference between tablets draining through their battery in under an hour playing games that look like N64 titles, while the switch lets you take current-gen games on the go.
It's not something graphicfags like you will ever appreciate, but the general public does, which is why the things sold 18m units in a year.
