Upsides to LGPE

No.35894104 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
>No overdone story and constant cut scenes like in gen 7
>No "muh friendship" group of "rivals" like in gen 6
>No Festival Plaza
>No friend code BS every time you want to trade or battle
>No checkpoint marker handholding like in gen 7
>Casualized in a way that makes it socially acceptable to play pokemon, allowing you to finally play with your normiest of friends (assuming you have any)
>Can finally smack down go-tier normalfags in WiFi because 4 moves are twice as much as what they are used too
>Actual incentives to catching all 151 (other than living dex autism) along with catching mons you already have (for candies and EV training)
>Last time Kanto will probably be returned too, so the genwunners will no longer have anything to complain about
>Casual pandering and possible new series of games allowing the future gens to no longer be stuck in the limbo of appealing to both casuals and hardcore fans
>Following pokemon return
>True pokemon riding that we wanted since gen 6
>Brand new meta for battlefags to finally get something new to work with other than just a few added mons or megas like in USUM/ORAS etc.

Honestly I don't know why you idiots are so buttblasted. For a game that is meant to hold us over for one year until gen 8, this isn't that fucking bad at all. Hell of a lot better than being forced to play USUM another year, or even worse, rush gen 8 to come out this year instead of giving it time to be a fleshed out game
