Why are they wasting a RGB remake on this? This feels more like a tech demo for the Switch than an actual game. They should be going all out for this.

I actually wanted a Kanto remake just because Kanto was the only region left that didn't have a game that had the physical/special split. But this is just terrible. I wanted it to be just like all the other remakes, having all the newest pokemon and added content. This only has the original 151, less than even FRLG, and takes away a ton of content.

Because remakes are easier to produce and they can hit on a different part of the audience than normal.

Pokemon Dash was a tech demo, too. Trozei, Mystery Dungeon, and Ranger all came before Diamond and Pearl.

Rumble Blast was definitely a tech demo, and Gates to Infinity also came out before XY.

Now we have Quest and Let's Go.

Kanto has most remakes and probably easier to make as it's familiar.
