RBY only told you about a few type match ups. These were Fire-Water-Grass, and Ghost vs. Psychic, and that one didn't even fucking WORK in that generation because 1) the only Ghost type move was fucking Night Shade, and 2) they didn't program Ghost type to work properly, so Night Shade didn't do shit.
