They think a non console person will buy a console for one single game. I can't wait for this game to fail. I bet they will manufacture scarcity so they can say "look. all our games are sold out, see how successful the game is" when in reality they are just shipping very little to stores.

Because it's an easy way to keep the little shits distracted and quiet if you're too lazy/busy to play with them yourself. I'm not a fan of it either but parents have been doing this for ages. Just put them in front of the TV or let them play some videogames or hand them a tablet and the kids will hopefully be quiet for a while.
