Bug is already shit and Grass is not a good attacking type, so...

1. You're not really buffing ice much because it's not really gaining much by resisting two uncommon attack types.

2. You're just making two already bad attacking types that much worse.

Realistic type match up revamp:

How about this. Ice is pretty hard, so make it resist Normal like Rock and Steel does (Ice is similarly weak to fighting)

Then have Water and Ice resist each other. Those are already pretty big buffs

Trying to justify resistances and weaknesses is a fool's game. Just balance them mechanically against types that are overdominant and to hell with "logic". It's already weak justification for so many typing decisions anyway.

Overhaul the design philosphy for Ice types. You could remove 2-3 weaknesses and things like Aurorus, Crabominable or Vanilluxe would still be bad. Make them faster, wider Movepools and good dual STAB.
Also put out more Ice types; its the rarest type by now

Not really. Being good against Poison is a pretty big deal, especially when Venusaur and Toxapex exist.

Just a couple new good moves that are really good and EXCLUSIVE to ice types, don't give it to waterfuckers.

Ice is fine being bad defensively, just make it better offensively since steel is so ever present and water takes all the ice moves
