No, but at the same time, I think that HGSS did the overworld far better than any of the other games. The bottom screen menu made shit so much quicker, automatic running made my thumb very happy, and on screen pokemon is obviously a very good thing

There was no reason to not do that in subsequent games, but with gamefreak being gamefreak, the cut out all the best parts

I think they should take a month to implement a difficulty option to include all types of players. They're the biggest media franchise in the world and have a host of assets at their disposal. There's no excuse.

How would be making a game with good post game content a bad idea?, if anything those show how GF is a shit developer by removing content every generation instead of building from what the last game had

A game developer shouldn't make a game out of fan wishlists. That never works out.

The only thing they actually need,to do is try and make great games again. Not just keep churning out mediocre titles whose main draw is graphics
