Kek. I'm sorry. Even with BW2 being beautiful games, gen V is not even close best gen. Gen 4 has 3 amazing titles, and they're from three regions.

There were several shit mons that felt like incomplete evos of other mons/redos of older mons, all the routes and caves bar charge stone were boring, music sucked. Having a region of mostly/only new pokemon was a mistake, this is a lesson GF should have learned from gen 3 being the final nail in the coffin for pokemania. But here we are, and gen 6 had to fire the nostalgia engine on all cylinders in order to bring people back.

To its credit theres alot gen 5 did. Like hard mode for example and interesting online features like dreamworld but the region and pokemon themselves were so mishandled audiences obviously didnt care enough to buy it.

I dont think that word means what you think it means.

Also please learn to read. At no point did i call either the hard mode or dreamworld good. I said dreamworld is interesting and that gen 5 introduced a hard mode.

I get what your saying anon and it was my mistake for using gen but we both know that if Z got made it would be ahead and that US/UM were only out for less then 6 months when those numbers came out. Its probably closer to 8 million copies sold now, placing it ahead of gen 5 .

I don't have too much of a problem with any gens and I like gens 1-7, but my only problem with gen 5 was that it was limited to the unova dex which was annoying as I disliked quite a few of them, even if I liked some.

Kinda. Its data but its more using projections then a hard number.
VG charts last updated USUM on december 29th with 6.12 sold.
March 31st numbers from nintendo are 7.51, thats about a million and a half copies in 3 months. We are now almost 3 months past again and only need gen 7 titles to sell 0.6 mill to pass that point which isnt hard to imagine considering now digital is a thing.

Again no hard numbers, just having some fun with educated guessing.
