What were you expecting? Gen 8 probably won't come out until mid-to-late 2019. Just knowing that they're trying to take this Gen in a more competitive/hardcore-friendly direction is good enough to have me satisfied until more is revealed.

I'm actually disappointed that they didn't redesign the stage to be HGSS-like (or at least FRLG-like).

Smash was cool, but Let's Go gets worse the more I see it.

I'm unconvinced that Game Freak can make a good mainline game anymore. When Sun and Moon is their idea of a hardcore game, I have little hope for Gen VIII.
