Honestly yes. My only gripe with PLG is no battling wild pokemon.

Only 151 pokemon plus alolans make sense. This game is a remake of yellow so having Oak being like "Its my dream to complete the pokedex blah blah 151 possible species" then after you beat the elite four suddenly "OH FUCK I WAS WRONG YOU GOTTA CATCH 999 MORE BTW HERE ARE SOME GLOWING MARBLES TO POWER YOUR POKEMON AND SOME WEIRD SPACE SHIT THAT MAKES THEM DO CRAZY MOVES BTW ULTRA BEASTS ARE HERE!"

If PLG does well we will probably get a go series which id be okay with.

I didn't it had to be remade because of FRLG, but because it is the most iconic region and it would have been cool to see it in proper 3D.

I don't like the design of Kanto in LGPE, but I am happy to revisit the region again and that I could play with my girlfriend, who was a big fan when we were kids and played RBY together.

I wanted it to be the beginning of Gen 8. A future Kanto (possibly with Sevii Islands and Johto postgame to reverse Gen 2) with new species, Kanto Formes of other region 'mons, and all of the features from the past games.

I wanted Pokémon Breath of the Wild, essentially, - a return to form by updating the original game but including shit from the later ones so there is something for everyone.

This is a demake, not the remakuel it should have been and they can fuck the hell off with it.
