I think I like all of the first 250 pokemon and a great deal of the later ones as well.

There are some real shitters in Gen 3, 5 and 7 but all in all they're all good.

That being said, both Gengar and Mewtwo are some of my favourites and they're hugely popular.

Mewtwo is cool as hell too. Wish it were a slight bit uglier and freakier though, like in the early days when you saw it hunched over all the time.

Sylveon and Flareon are too cute for me not to like.

I don't know if Piplup is normie or not, but it's my second favorite pokemon overall.

I used to like Charizard, but all of the shilling make me grow really fucking tired of it, same for all of those other on the list, except for pikachu, who i'm indifferent
Greninja might be the only one of the shillmons that i'm actually fine with, mostly because it has a fun theme and good design

Does Zoraork count as a normie Pokemon? It might be the anti-normie choice since it failed to catch on. The next choices are Snivy, Decidueye and Silvally, but none of them are on the level of shill as Charizard or Eeevee, neither of which I've ever cared for.

Zoroark totally doesn't count, if anything, it being a gen 5 pokemon makes it already really obscure, for the only thing normies know of gen V is that that is the gen that has trubbish the garbage bag and vanilluxe the icecream pokemon
Also the only other one that might be a normie pokemon would be decidueye, because it's probably the gen 7 starter pokemon that everyone thought about getting and because it was added in pokken
