True. I can say that just because ORAS is not as good as Emerald doesn't mean it's a bad game. The worst I can say about ORAS as a remake is that it's meh.

Pretty much. To judge a remake you have to judge both on how good the new game is on its own, as well as how much it improved on the Original.

Unrelated topic guys, but I really enjoyed playing pokemon Z, it was a step up from x/y but was still too easy, but atleast they sort of figured shit out with zygarde

Honestly no. FRLG is the best remake simply because it actually fixes RGBYs problems. No matter how many bells and whistles HGSS and ORAS added, both failed at addressing core problems with the original games.
