I actually like this. For one, it's adorable. For another, they wag their tails when there's a hidden item nearby, so you no longer need some dedicated item-finding thing, and there's always a nice little surprise when they start wagging and you can stop and look for something.

>Wild encounters
I like what I've seen of the wild encounters so far. From the looks of things, sometimes Pokemon wandering in the grass will try to run away from you, and others might actually leave the grass to chase you down. It's a fun little thing that makes the Pokemon world feel that much more alive.
