Too bad the arctic fox has already been used since it originated in scandinavia.
Although swift and kit foxes are genetically similar to arctics so i guess those could be used.

Lands around the Baltic and the Danish Sound would be a cool region. The sea is remarkably lake-like with low salinity and it's very shallow so the ecosystem could be quite distinct and the exploration would be based on sailing.

Seconded, they can even include Gdańsk in that region. Or even make the player start in Bory Tucholskie and place the League in Oslo (that's a trip my good friend took)

If you want a Scandinavian Region then go play Fire Emblem.

I think that European regions have been done enough, whether or not it's Pokemon or other games. I'm looking forward to South American/African/Asian regions. Even though it has European ties Australia would be cool, too.
