>>35925728Fire type has become one of the worst types now because Ground is so prevelant in the meta. Bringing a Fire type is pretty much saying “come fuck my ass raw, I don’t need to walk for a week anyway”.
The one good buff Fire god was Fairy resistance, but that became a moot point because it’s not Super Effective against it, most Fire types have a secondary typing that neutralizes the resistance anyway (like Dark or Fighting), and the only Pokemon who have quad Fairy resistance AND can hit them for SE damage are Heatran and Salazzle, both who get fucked over by Ground because of their typing.
