I expect the counterargument "then every team will have X to counter Y, that will be no variety." To have a frequent counter almost as popular as the problem pokemon itself should propagate discouragement from using that mon in the first place. Hell, in a 3 on 3 I'd imagine you'd be hard pressed to bring, say, your Therian Landorus in the fight if you saw I have a Milotic or Bisharp on the team, the risk would be too great.

Actually on that note wouldn't ANY Pokemon with taunt be viable, since Gothitelle is slow as hell?
