Since Toxic Spikes has been doing the same thing for 12 years, I'm guessing you're banking on the theoretical paralysis hazard actually becoming popular

Or a Eletric type field/hazard move that shocks on switching.

Or maybe a Eletric tempest that hits every turn with 30% to paralize on switching?

A paralysis hazard would be popular, though. It'd ruin scarfers and a lot of fast pokemon in general.
And there aren't enough relevant electric types to absorb it
