I wouldn't normally post a story like this on here but this is so insane I feel like it had to be shared.

I was recently playing pokemon ultra sun and had just started going into ultra wormholes. It is important to note that this is the first ultra wormhole I had gone into since the last time I went into the pokemon center and healed my pokemon. I went into one of the wormholes and found a shiny Quagsire, and of course caught it. I imediately took it back to the pokemon center to put it in my box but before that I went ahead and healed my team at which point the nurse told me I had contracted pokerus.

So in summary, I caught a shiny pokemon with pokerus.

This also comes after what was already a pretty damn good string of luck already. I've been playing through all of the pokemon generations I can on the 3ds, and in crystal I contracted pokerus, while in omega ruby I caught two wild shinies within two days.
