I always thought the process of reviving them still left them somewhat "fossil-like" and if you were to go back millions of years and catch the pokemon in their own time period, they wouldn't have the rock typing. (Also I really hope GF makes a game where you can do that and the region is a completely different continent from eons ago.)

Her two signature Pokémon that she uses during her Gym fight in the games, Koffing and Venipede, share identical Shiny pallets. (neon/cyan blue, and a lighter purple than their usual forms)

That same Shiny pallet just so happens to match Roxie's outfit. I believe this to be intentional, and I headcanon Roxie to be a shiny hunter in her spare time, looking for sparkly colorful versions of her favorite Pokémon to match her own famous rockstar persona.

The "Bond Phenomenon" is the real megaevolution, Greninja is just the only pokemon discovered to have an ability that bonds him with his trainer's feelings so hard it experiments the evolution, other pokemon lack of this ability so the only way they can awake the genetic potential of their species is using mega stones, that also explains why Greninja's change is superior (it gets +110 BTS and an upgraded move, while Megas only get +100 BTS).
The reason for Greninja's megaevolution to not consume your "mega slot" is clear if you read the manga, the megaevolutions you can use are limited to your Key Stone, so your character only can megaevolve one pokemon per fight with its only Key Stone, even if it's a special pokemon that doesn't need its own megastone (Rayquaza), but Greninja doesn't need a megastone nor a Key Stone so you can spam the Bond Phenomenon with several Greninja if you want even if it's a megaevolution. Not to mention that Greninja's transformation sequence in the games has the same purple sphere of energy surrounding him as the pokemon that megaevolve with stones, it's just partially hidden by the water Greninja generates

My headcannon is that the Kalos starters were all intended to mega-evolve at some point. However due to nostalgia faggotry/geninjas overwhelming popularity (compared to the other two)/the anime mega greninja was re-worked into Ash-Greninja.

Pokemon like the legnedary birds, beasts, golems etc. aren't one of a kind but so incredibly rare that they're considered to be one of a kind by the uneducated masses who only ever see them once and very briefly at that. This actually fits with a theory I read about the beasts beign Eevee evolutions (specifically Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon) that were caught in the fire and resurrected by Ho-Oh and in the process being emporered by it to the point they become Entei, Raikou and Suicune.

Water and grass types are generally calm, whereas it would be rare to find a little kid capable of handling a haxorus or a swalot since they're more high maintenance and are inclined to do more dangerous things.

I think it depends on the water type. Something amphibious is probably easier, but a fish would be harder. Ice types wouldn't do well in warm climates as well.

Grass, Bug, and Normal types are probably the easiest. Fire, Dragon, and Ghost are probably some of the harder ones.

Around the multiverse, there are many universes where Ash stopped his journey at different moments where the main one could've done so, basically: there's one where he won the Kanto League, one where he won the Kalos League, one where became a Frontier Brain and so on.
Also, I think the world without pokémon from I Choose You exists in the Pokémon multiverse, like how DC had Earth-Prime.

The level at which pokemon evolve at is arbitrary and only applies to the player character because the player character themself is pretty naturally talented with all pokemon.

Youngsters might have a level 25 Rattata and it STILL wouldn't evolve because they did not draw enough of Rattata's power and potential out for it to evolve into Raticate.

This is oppositely true for type specialists. For example, Lance is able to have underleveled Dragonite specifically because Lance is a dragon specialist and particularly good at drawing the power out of dragons.

The player character is still better as an all-around trainer/jack-of-all-trades though, which is much more valuable in team building, hence the MC characters becoming champions.

Just like in the anime, not all the main characters win the Pokémon League. I like to think that Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Unova 2, and Alola main characters are the only ones that became Champions.

The thing is, I assumed he already flew to the Lake of Rage with his Dragonite. If he had any other Dragonairs on his team at the time though they could've been forced to evolve too. Maybe he had one Dragonite and two Dragonairs instead of three Dragonites as a champion.

Everyone in Kanto, and by an extension, Johto are a bunch of hicks. They rarely go online or get news from out of the country so many of them think that the only pokemon in existence are the ones native to Kanto and Johto. Whenever someone comes to Kanto or Johto with an unfamiliar pokemon, everyone has a very big response believing that pokemon to be a brand new undiscovered species. Professor Oak is well aware of this and hopes that maybe by encouraging more young people to go out and research and learn about pokemon, maybe people will be less ignorant about them.

The redhead boy from the animation of the Old Notebook is actually supposed to be young Cyrus. Cyrus has been heavily implied to be the author of that notebook, the one who discovered and befriended Rotom.
Cyrus's Japanese name (Akagi) means 'red.' The boy's hair is a bowl cut shape like the Galactic grunts - perhaps a reference to them.
The RR event in Japan often had Cyrus looking at the short playing on TVs or gazing at Rotom plushes.
It's possible Cyrus's light blue hair isn't his natural hair color but premature graying. Maybe his redesign will have red eyes or something, to make him look more similar to the redhead boy.
