Even if somebody didn't build Castelia and Nimbasa, apparently there would still be this huge desert surrounded by rivers and forests with underground tombs. Since they built them though, now it exists with tombs that have gone relatively unexplored between the construction, tourists, and proximity to two of the biggest cities in the region.
But it's not real, so that makes it smart and not stupid, right?
