The design is overall good but they keep making it look too perpetually friendly. Not saying it should be Hydreigon-tier edgy but a bit more personality wouldn't hurt.

It's because they handed Dragonair's evolution to someone else.
Atsuko Nishida designed both Dratini and Dragonair, and Shigeki Morimoto finalized the line with Dragonite.
