I remember burying hundreds of those pearl things and forgetting about my diamond cart for a year. Made it really easy to get everything from the underground shops when you had a ton of 99 sized rocks.
Honestly I want something like the Underground to be in all future pokemon games. Not necessarily being underground, but that there's a way to grind items through a simple and fun minigame rather than through grinding BP.

I unironically love that mining minigame way too much. If Popcap or whatever dev does that sort of shit these days made an online game similar to the mining minigame/underground in Pokemon, I'd be stoked. As is, it'd better come back with online functionality at bare minimum.
