>>35947816It's got pretty bad performance issues. Some sort of memory leak that makes it lag if you play for more than 5 minutes. It also has quest pop ups that lock your controls and take ever to appear and fade away. Those are the two biggest objective problems.
On top of that, despite one of the main draws being graphics, the in-game night looks awful. And you'll see it a lot because the game has an accelerated clock so no playing just in the day. The battle backgrounds look rather odd as well. And then on a more detailed level is how generally unbalanced the early game is. The Water and Grass starters have early replacements you can get, making fire a better option. It's also possible to get Weber very early, but you're practically forced into Jolteon because you can buy a Thunderstone outright. The swamp area alsp has its main gimmick of being full of poison types mitigated by being able to buy ultra cheap Pecha berries just outside. But there are several other status heal items that you might qant but can't buy at all.
Apparently it's also rather buggy, and you cam somehow get a Ho-oh and multiple Kyogres through some weird method. And of course, it only goes up to a single gym, despite it being in development for 8 years.
