Lacks resistances. It resists itself, Steel, and Flying, and only Flying is actually a particularly good resist. Plus, the one type it's weak to is Ground, a great offensive type. Everything else is neutral. Electric/Flying instead gives the Ground immunity alongside Fighting and Flying resistances.

Almost every notable physical attacker carries Earthquake.

The most commonly used Pokemon in every Gen since Gen I (Tauros, Snorlax, Tyranitar, Garchomp, and Landorus) has carried Earthquake.

The number of Pokémon who can use Earthquake is infuriating. Even some that lack a viable body part for rocking or tearing the ground can do it.

Normal/Ghost would be a TERRIFYING type combination that I honestly hope never happens, because I wouldn’t like to have something that could completely block the otherwise-great coverage combination of Fighting and Ghost.

A bit of a lesser case with Dark/Fairy, which occurred to me once because it would block the Calm Mind/Roost/Dragon Pulse/Psychic set I used on Latias in AS.
