What real world place do you hope for gen 8 to be based off of? Any mechanics or ideas that fit along with the theme of the region?

I hope we won't end up with a tropical/exotic thing again.

I think we'll, end up with Africa and a lot of tribal/cave painting/cradle of humanity related lore because of the last travel the team did months ago (The entire team did go to Perigueux in France to see the first human painting caves. The strange thing is that a lot of members of GF was there. You can find a tweet about it somewhere)

I want Bug pokemon with not-as-of-yet existing type combinations for Bug pokemon (Pyschic, Dragon, Dark, Normal, and Ice IIRC) and new Eeveelutions.

New mechanic can be a gang battle wherein multiple trainers, four or greater are placed into two teams where each trainer sends out a pokemon and all pokemon act simulataneously, I don't feel like coming up with a mechanic that isn't an opt-in gimmick.

The middle east with competing legendary "not worshipping pokémon or warring with other tribes" camps on the edges of the map, so much desert it takes vehicular travel, and the desert pokémon are epic in scope (thinking of mongolian death worms). Rather than a new trainer you'd play the (archaeologist) professor's aide and the story would be about retrieving artifacts. They just played Indiana Jones 3 on TV last night.
