What complaints of the 3DS games from /vp/ do you find stupid?

For me it's the EXP Share. You can just turn it off, then the difficulty would be around the same as previous Pokémon games.

The only real complaint is they've all felt a bit incomplete. If they were all given a bit more time, say if we ended up getting Z and "Stars"
They'd probably have been pretty great games

My point is the EXP Share is optional and that you can always turn it off at any point. Stop calling it "unbalanced game design" if you don't know what it means.

I think Z could have been great, Kalos is a comfy region but it just lacks any difficulty. The world building was kinda sloppy too, but I liked the cutscenes visually.

It's not even unbalanced. Especially not in Gen 7 where the games are not difficult, but mildly harder than they've ever been.

Which is not saying much because they've never been hard to begin with, but still. For all of the legitimate complaints against them, S/M/US/UM are the hardest games even with Exp. Share on.

I've never in my life spammed revives as much as I did in my playthroughs of Sun and Moon (until Gen 6 introduced the change I'd actually starter soloed everything, saving everything else for post game), and I was regularly 7 - 10 levels ahead of the NPCs.

another anon here, I'm pretty sure USUM are the hardest main games in the franchise by now. SM is moderate, in pair with Platinum and BW2. You can see that when doing nuzlockes. It's pretty hard to not lose anything in the bosses and simply impossible against Necrozma if you don't have the perfect matchup. It just gets worse in the endgame where every single trainer is EV trained and can easily KO frailer or underleveled mons

Replaying Kalos now and damn, that region had some potential. I'm surprised they didn't return to the region and decided to release a remake instead. Alola is fun but USUM was a slap to the face to the consumer. Should have been the originL Vanilla SuMo or AT LEAST an add-on/DLC. "Revisiting" Alola was all sorts of retarded (as was Festival Plaza and that bullshit Battle Tree)

It can be a nightmare if you're unprepared. I beat it without issue my second attempt but my first try saw him outspeeding and OHKO'ing my team though paralysis

but really, it is mathematically impossible, unless your kadabra was eviolite overleveled or carrying Counter+Focus Sash and some shit like this it is impossible (+2 with all stats necrozma can 2hko almost everything in the Alola dex, being a few steel types like Bastiodon, Magnezone and Metagross the exceptions)

Exp share was suppose to be for the mons outside and the one holding it. To make it for all pokemons getting the effect of exp share is imbalanced. If we wanted to exp share all the mons, we could've done it ourselves, thanks.
