Just a question, do Pokémon fans really do hate the 3DS games or is it a /vp/-only thing?

/vp/ only. The 3ds games were pretty good. LGPE is really hated by everyone.

I'm talking for myself but as an "older" player I really hated these games because they were way too different from what I was used to. Black and White were starting to push it a bit but at least I managed to finish them. I barely made it to the first gym in Alpha Sapphire and I just stopped playing.

As an open-minded guy I did notice the formula had somewhat changed with these games. However, I also think they made up for their setbacks with other inovations.

They're definitely a drawback from the adventures they should be.

Like Alpha sapphire/Omega Ruby, there was no reason to cut down the battle station. Instead they should have made a system where you could save between fights to get to the top
