Some poisonous plants have white milky fluid, hence the white.

Shinies shouldn't exist. Every Pokémon should have a set of colors for different parts so each of them has its unique shade of color. No need for a single alternative coloration that's ugly as fuck but rare so people think it's desirable. There. I fixed the whole thing.
