>>35965791Well, that's long been a problem of pokemon games, that they have this battery of forced tutorials. I will admit there's more of them than there needs to be now, and gen 7 in particular made the entire beginning of the game into one long forced tutorial. Even in gen 6 if all I wanted was access to the PC to send over whatever pokemon I want, all I had to do was fight a few trainers and I was there. In gen 7, you're waiting quite a few minutes and THEN fighting a few trainers to get there. Then have to wait a few more minutes for them to explain more junk to you. I will continue to disagree on your aversion to plot. (again, go back to your simulators) It could be fixed in some manner, such as being skippable if you've already seen it. I may also agree that the plot is stupid, but it was ALWAYS stupid. I still continue to believe that the plot can be made interesting, but it would pretty much entail abandoning the trainer nonsense, or at least only making it a side thing. You don't believe Gamefreak is capable of this? Not as they are, no. They will have to either prove they can do it, or hire people that can.
