>>35967233>>35967282Honestly, not really? There's only like 10 Pokemon with -ate type abilities, like half of them are complete shitmons and wouldn't get anything out of this. Then you have Pinsir that is very reliant on Swords Dance to be effective, which has terrible synergy with a move that forces you to switch. Mence is already broken so who cares if that gets any better.
The literal only Pokemon that it'd make a real difference for is Gardevoir, coming in with Hyper Beam nukes and then switching. Even Sylveon can't use it because Z-Hyper Beam would be the only really viable set, but that doesn't even get changed to Fairy Type when using a Z-Move.
Salvaging Hyper Beam is probably worth more to the game than potentially breaking Mega Gardevoir.
