My opinion? Pretty boring desu. Had more fun playing Ruby, Black & Black 2, VC GSC, and early-game Y than Pearl, although it wasn't as boring as VC RBY.
The highlight of the playthrough was almost sweeping Cynthia with my underleveled Torterra--he took out everything except Roserade, which Staraptor took out with BB. Even OHKO'd her Garchomp despite being 10 levels lower because she missed Giga Impact. The biggest issue was that my party stagnated at 4; nothing beyond them really appealed to me.
