>>35974801You probably sucked and didn't use your resources (turns and items) properly. The other thing is, your starters and their moves matter a lot. For example, Bulbasaur is completely broken thanks to poison immunity, AOE sleep powder and overpowered Bullet Seed. Charmander is pretty good thanks to ranged Flamethrower and utility Smokescreen. Skitty's Doubleslap hurts a lot. The list goes on.
Rescue Team games require you to either play smart or grind. They are not that difficult but they are harder than most Pokemon games for sure. The best way to win is to get proper moves and items. Multiple hitting attacks hurt like a motherfucker and melt bosses. AOE moves (like Heat Wave and Discharge IIRC) completely counter monster houses. Having 3 revival seeds on every adventure help a lot (hell, they revive you if you die of hunger so you don't need to bring apples all the time). Sleep seeds help with bosses.
