Imagine that you, a devout and arguably autistic pokemon player are dropped into your favorite region with only the clothes on your back. You manage to stumble to a town and call a professor (whose phone number is luckily public) on a Pokemon center phone. Someway, somehow, you convince them that you're not crazy and in return for helping you, they want your help in a study. They want you to be a pokemon trainer so they can study the differences between you and a trainer who has always lived around pokemon. In return, they'll fast track your citizenship and give you a moderate stipend for living and your own projects. Reject and you're on your own, so obviously you accept.
Perfectly honest, how would you do as a trainer? Where did you end up? Your starter amd team? Would you take the gym circuit or opt for something more sedate? Tell us and don't be shy with details.
