This has been bothering the fuck out of me. Kyogre represents the oceans, which includes the arctic ice. So why did GF remember to add fire to Groudon but not ice to Kyogre?

game freak is wrong about a lot of things. making a photosynthesis laser grass is not one of them. making "light" into special steel type attacks is probably the most natural implementation of "shoehorned special version of an otherwise physical type" that gen 4 decided to run with.

what's next? hyper beam should be fire because lasers are hot? thunder should be fire because lightning is hot?

power gem had a stupid animation in gens 4 and 5 that i wouldn't associate with "light" but if it got one in gen 6/7 that's understandable

All three Lycanroc forms sure as fuck wouldn't have pure Rock typing anymore. But, the only secondary typing I can think of is Rock/Dark (or maybe fighting) for midnight.

All three seriously need a BST increase and better movepools regardless.
