>>35985766I don't remember any returning characters. Each series following the original has it's own feeling as far as I can tell. Because it's late and I'm bored, I'll give my opinions.
I haven't seen every Beyblade series since the original generation, but what I've seen is like this. I loved Metal Fight because it was more over the top than the original. Lots of beyblading literally outside and the villain had an evil top that was powerful because it spun left. The dub was hilarious because after the first couple episodes the voice actors gave up and intentionally overacted. There were some parts that pleasantly reminded me of the Pokemon anime because they were traveling through woods.
Burst was alright. The characters were what kept me watching. It's more realistic than Metal Fight and I'd say even more realistic than the original generation. The whole thing is basically tournaments except for one episode and you barely see the bit beasts. The dub isn't that great because it cuts some scenes and rewrites some of the lines to make the characters seem even stupider than they actually are.
Burst God is a continuation of Burst and a huge improvement in my eyes. The characters are more interesting than ever an there's a lot more going on than in Burst. Things like traveling the world to compete at international level and beyblading in an Aztec-looking pyramid temple in the jungle.
I haven't seen the newest season of the Burst generation yet, which recently started airing in Japan. The magazine picture I posted is the main character of that.
