Does anyone else feel alienated by nu-Pokemon?
The original 151 and most of the G/S pokemon did a decent job at resembling plants and animals, but all of these new pokemon look like space aliens.
I'm also annoyed by the concept of IV/EV and shinies. Gen 1 taught players to love their pokemon regardless of stats, but later pokemon titles seem to encourage farming until you find a shiny with particular specialties/stat growth rates.
