assuming your little kid self was retarded and fucked them up by either bending them, scratching them, any other form of damage. then yea probably wouldn't go for much if I had to guess. I'm not knowledable on collector items so this is just a guess. But I can't imagine why any collector would want damaged items, especially cards. Don't worry too much. That's all assuming you'd find someone willing to buy in the first place.

i didn't put them in sleeves, but i never played with them either. they sat on a shelf in my room. i remember a few of my holofoils being curled. i saw a charizard listed on ebay for $5k so that spooked me a lot.

Normalfags are convinced base set Charizards are super valuable, so seeing them listed on ebay for retarded prices isn't uncommon. They never actually sell for those prices, a Charizard in good condition is worth about $100.

Unless it was PSA graded, it wasn't worth a dime. Your whole shoebox probably had a market value of $50 or less, assuming you could even find someone dumb enough to buy them.

If they weren't first edition and PSA graded 7+ then they weren't worth much. Trust me, I know. And it's a pain in the ass to get them PSA graded and costs money. Just buy non-first editions at local card shops, they are pretty inexpensive.
