I'm annoyed that of all the media they could have used for the basis, they chose the one most removed from the actual concept of Pokemon barring puzzle games.

Who knows, honestly, Pokemon is very hit and miss.

I think I'll enjoy it even if its on the bad side just because its a fat detective pikachu, and that is, by escense, hilarious.

i mean, not everything in pokemon have to be pokemon battles, and this game shows how pokemon and people live in the everyday city pretty well, so it isn't that removed from the pokemon universe
