USUM should've been the Gen7 premier game; the only reason it's "bad' is because it's taking the place of both the gen's redo and the third game, which isn't cool.

On the flip side, if it was only 3rd game and we get our redo game in Sinnoh (not including LGPE as Gen7's redo, which arguably you could call it that) everyone would love it.

Festival Plaza is not a proper replacement for Join Avenue. It's way too time consuming and random.

Bottle caps take to much randomisation/time to get.

The Battle Agency fucking sucks ass. Why couldn't they just make a normal rental system?

Not enough new Pokémon. Too many forms and legendaries.

No Totem rematches or enough rematches outside of Battle Tree or Title Defense.

No Battle Frontier or PWT.

No Dark Tall grass.

No Triple or Rotation Battles.

Dusk Lycanroc event exclusive for no reason.

No. Those are boring as shit. I don't want to tediously battle AI without some kind of sense of progression. In normal battles you get EXP, but in facilities you pretty much just fight these same randomly generated mons at the same levels until you get a preset boss you barely get anything from.

I did the battle frontier once in HGSS. Did the Factory because its gimmick is at least somewhat enjoyable and pretty much never touched it afterwards.

None of those are really a problem for me. Being legendary or not is just an arbitrary label and most of the Gen 7 designs are top tier anyway.

gen 7 was fine and way better than gen 6 if you play without exp share and items
the only real problem is the weak level design and the pacing of cutscenes compared to before but it's not dramatic

what i'm saying is that you're overreacting for nothing, it's not that bad

Every gen made it a little bit better gen VII made it look like it was going to be a lot better but, then it pulled the rug out from under us by making getting to level 100 tedious as it was during the pre platinum days and by making hypertraining a giant disappointment.

No actually, I loved X/Y. I couldn't believe they were getting shit on so hard when they first came out.

Looking back I can see that they had issues, but X/Y did a lot of things right, and they're still some of my favorite Pokemon games. And fuck do I love the Kalos region.
