Literally Alains only chance is landing guillotine on Darkrai and KOing Latinos with TTar. We don’t know the rest of Tobias’s team, but I think we can assume the rest is on a similar power level. So maybe Deoxys, Garchomp, Salamance, and Mew. This team would obliterate Alain.

Let's be fair, they could of thrown anything at Ash and he would of still lost. If Darkrai can tank a Megahorn for Heracross and a Charizard in its base form can shrug off electric/water attacks, then anything is possible as long as it fits the plot.
They could of sent out a Magikarp at Ash and somehow Ash would lose.

Alain mid-series brought Zygarde low enough that it can be captured and his Charizard was even smiling after it flew back. Considering giant feature legendaries are retardedly strong in the anime and Zygarde is the Z in XY&Z, it all comes down to what other 4 pokemon Tobias has. If they're also legendaries he'll win. If they're throwaways, he'll lose. Too bad we didn't see him fight against the E4, it'll make a good frame of reference since Alain did beat an E4 in one hit which is something they make champions do (Diantha beating Wikstrom in one hit).
