I’m thinking about replaying the D/P games, since I remember not liking D/P, but I don’t particularly remember why.
It’s been a while and I have Platinum.
Wanted to see your guys opinion on Sinnoh, whether it’s bad or good, and if I should replay Diamond, play Platinum, or just skip Sinnoh

Just play through it and make your own judgment. If you can, grab an emulator and a Platinum ROM speed some of the game's slower sections up.

Play platinum. Gen4 plays a bit slow but it's enjoyable if you're playing on a rom get a speed mod. Too bad you're going to miss out on the underground multiplayer hijinx and the party plaza. The post game island is really good. A fun feature you shouldn't pass up is ball capsules and seals. You get it in solaceon town and you edit them at the pc.

The games are slow, but also very relaxing so just make sure to take your time and enjoy the moment without hurrying.
Also keep in mind that these games had a gimmick where having an advance cart inserted while playing would spawn certain pokemon. So when you play them on their own you may find the same bunch of pokemon in the early areas without much variety (though some pokemon are only available in honey trees, and several fossil mons are in the underground).

The only problems with DP are slowness and lack of fire types to catch before e4. The rest is pretty much the same as platinum.
