It lacks a third version or sequels to be or feel complete imo, especially considering Kalos as a region with locked areas and Zygarde which didn't amount to shit in SM

Gen 6 was garbage and is arguably the worst of the series.
ORAS was fun tho, but you can replace these game by R/S or Emerald and get pretty much the exact same experience.

tbrh, this is the case for every 3rd version when they're just released.
I'm ready to bet that in 5 years, USUM will be more popular than S/M.

Let's be honest, there is nothing in X/Y and S/M that ORAS and USUM doesn't do better.

So are we all in agreement that Johto fags won? Their remake came at exactly the right time to capitalize on new technology to update an older game. FRLG was too soon, and as such improve that much on the originals because of GBA limitations. ORAS was good, but it failed to be HGSS tier, and there's arguably less of a technology gap than the one between GSC and HGSS. Kantofags now have Pokemon Let's Go, and Sinnohfags are either not getting remakes or getting a Let's Go style remake.

I say this as a Hoennfag who actually really enjoyed ORAS.
