>>36032035ehh, the term originates from the UK folklore of the Willowisp, and it would be wierd to make it a turnip or something (maybe the first stage)

I'm thinking a fast mixed (but leaning special) attacker with utility options (Will-o-Wisp, grass knot, forest's curse etc) and a lot of coverage like sucker-punch and shadowball to give it a good matchup against, and thus "ward away", ghosts types.
For abilities i might go with illuminate (which i'll be giving an in combat ability), frisk, prankster might be too strong as a HA.
On that note, i'd like some tips on another fakemon i'm trying to work. It's a steampunk-style construct, Steel type. Then becomes steel/water type with fire coverage in its last stage. My first thought was to make it carry a giant boiler in the last stage to power it. I think the concept is there, but i can't quite decide on an design. A more monstrous construct goes against the aesthetic of steampunk, needing to be aesthetically magnificent with filigree, but the more accurate option might not look much like a pokemon. And the slow bulky stats i wanted to give it might go against the aesthetic too. And yes, the steampunk aesthetic is necessary.
