I would really dig Illuminate as an ability like intimidate, but lowering accuracy
Some other ideas:

It would still be sorta shit, but new run away makes you imune to trapping moves and or to a pokemon's ability

Keep the imunity to loss of accuracy, but also add a boost to the accuracy of your own moves

Add a 20% chance to burn a pokemon who uses contact moves on your pokemon

Nah, Keen Eye is fine. Just because the retards at smogon decided they didn't like the accuracy mechanic doesn't mean the ability is actually useless.

The japanese name means timid, and the general idea is that after it gets damaged enough it kind of gives up on attacking and is just trying to get the heck out of dodge. Evasion just makes sense.

I know it makes it smogon illegal but screw smogon, its still fine in online and official tournaments.

Out of these 31 moves, 22 are attacks. Starmie can learn 5 of the attacking ones (hyper beam, power gem, signal beam, dazzling gleam, flash cannon), which is kinda alright-ish. Lanturn gets hyper beam, dazzling gleam and signal beam, not bad but not really useful; Volbeat gets signal beam and dazzling gleam, but has a pitiful 47 special attack that it COULD try to patch up with tail glow; Watchog gets STAB hyper beam and signal beam, might work on a specs set; Shiinotic gets moonblast, dazzling gleam and signal beam, kinda alright.

Gives you an random beneficial Berry out of nowhere when health is 50% or less (to simulate Hoopa reaching in a portal and hoping he pulls out something good). Sitrus (Restore 25%HP), Lum (Cure Status, will only possibly appear if Hoopa is statused), Starf (Raises a random stat 2 stages), Lansat (Critical hit up), and Custap (+1 Priority on next move) are the possible Berries Hoopa can come up with. If Hoopa regains health and goes below 50% again, Magician will activate again and Hoopa will reach into a new portal and eat another random Berry.

How's that?

Actually it turns out archeops doesn't learn any special flying type attack and its best rock special attack is ancient power. Fuck everything.

Prevents the accuracy, Attack, or Defense stat from dropping for ANY reason except maybe switching out; HC and BP block Atk or Def drops from Superpower, Heart Swap and Topsy-Turvy can’t lower them, and even Haze won’t do a thing about the boosted stat.

Charging up, being Flinched etc. do not count as using up a turn (too LAZY to see whether this is already the case or not.) Moves like Slack Off and Rest no longer count as using up a turn and can even be used on the loafing-around turn.

When the Magician attacks, "Magician made Foe's item vanish!" and it's added to a pool.
If at the end of any turn, if an item is in the pool and the Magician (or its partner in doubles) is not holding an item, "Magician pulled an item out of nowhere!".
The pool is not attached to any Pokémon, so Hoopa could steal and item then Klefki could pull it out 30 turns later.
