Now that the dust has settled, can we agree that powercreep is ruining competitive?

I dropped comp after SM because doubles didn't feel fun for me anymore. I could work with Megas, even if Mega Mom and Mence were cancer, but Tapus and UBs have just made me dislike the new VGC metas.
2015 was the last good year.

No. VGC has always been a shitshow where grime and chance are the name of the game. At least since Dark Void was created. And Smogon tiering is pretty fair. If you hate the power creep, play UU because it's basically ORAS OU. Or just play ORAS OU lol.

I don't deny power creep is a thing, but if it's ruining your enjoyment of competitive pokemon, it's because YOU are too stubborn.

Because you knew going into it that RNG was an element of the competition. If you didn't want to risk the money, you wouldn't have signed on, or you would have chosen moves with 100% accuracy.
