Not too shit, mind - another pocket creature that carries many of the same characteristics as this one became an overnight sensation among children globally. And obviously even as a clone of said creature, this one's design appears goofy, yet plausible.
This is the pocket monster formula. Years from now this will be a subject of intense, yet largely irrelevant, research. Gamefreak managed to put out three (3) generations of their nest egg before they resorted to rehashing their first effort. Let it sink in that seven (7) generations of this stagnant mess have been created, and three of them contain games from the past that have been remade. No other game has so shamelessly relied on the egoistic relishing of one's past known as NOSTALGIA. This series, along with hollywood, are responsible for the bloating and eventual death of this once-revered emotion.
The pokemon in the original post is believable because it fits the pattern of gamefreak to a t: artistically valid, yet completely derivative of past installments.
