Me personally would add in that Pokemon with Truant can hit through or at least partially hit through protect as z moves do.

Truant doesn't skip your turn if you use a non attacking move, or a recovery move like Slack-off.

Hidden Ability is Stall and has both Truant and Stall as abilities.

Make it so you can use certain moves like Yawn, Slack Off, or Rest on the loafing turn. Maybe add in some passive healing as well, but not a crazy amount.

Giving it another downside ability like Slow Start or Stall as an alternative would also be interesting, since then it would at least be less predictable.

Truant only triggers when he uses an attacking move. Slacking can use all Status moves with impunity.

Also, Defeatist only reduces Physical Attack. Special Attack is left intact.

Also, Slow Start lasts 2 turns instead of 5.
