Reminder that the (undead!) seaweed is the Pokemon and the anchor is just a weapon it brings into battle with it.

As if Dhelmise already wasn't badass enough. Seriously, this might just be my favourite design in the whole generation.

This thing would be scary as fuck to encounter irl. It took me a while for Dhelmise to grow on me but damn is it easily top 5 gen 7 mons for me. Probably even top 3. And one of my favourite ghosts in general.

Dhelmise makes me angry. It's typing is too bad to do what it wants to. It should have been either steel/ghost or steel/grass with an ability that gives it grass or ghost stab respectively

Basically, people find Decidueye's Roost+Swords Dance and Z-Move more appealing. People would rather use Scizor to punch through a team with a Flashy mega evolution than use Forretress to control hazards and explode on the threat to your team.

The only thing Decidueye really has going for it over Dhelmise now is defog over rapid spin since rapid spin can be blocked by ghosts and defog can't. Other than that, Dhelmise is overall the better option. Triple STAB, great attack and defenses, and is a spin-blocking rapid spinner. If this were still base S/M, Decidueye would've had the synthesis advantage as well, but now in the ultra upgrades, Decidueye doesn't have much going for it.
