It seems pretty hard to just talk about one thing for hours on end with no deviation. You'd have to be pretty obsessive to do that. That's not to say I like all the shit that goes on here, but there aren't any alternatives anymore. Forums are going the way of the dinosaurs. The few that still exist are typically full of established veterans with like 20 regular users and the occasional new guy that sticks around for like a month before disappearing. There's always Reddit, though.
