Are these the worst "enhanced" versions in the series besides gens 1/2 that barely changed anything because they are like 20 years old?

Enhanced versions are supposed to fix the problems of the base versions, but USUM only made the plot of SM worse, it added MORE cutscenes and MORE tutorials, all in exchange for mantine surf and some shitty 90 minute hallway rocket episode

Even if that is true that doesn't make them the best.

Like I said, some of those changes are for the worse. People say it changed the most because "new story" but it's 95% the same, and most changes are underwhelming.

THe pacing of the game's beginning is even worse because instead of just running through hauoli city to get to the docks to ride to the second island, now you still have to run through hauoli city but to watch a mandatory cutscene about photoclub, then backtrack through the city to get back to the melemele beach so you can do a mantine surf tutorial, and then do a mantine surf minigame to get to the second island.

Sure it changed more in that regard, but I wish it didn't.

When compared to improving on the previous, Crystal would take that spot and second place is BW2, since it was still linear garbage.
